SNAP TIES

• The Acrow snap tie is specifically designed for use with the Acrow U-Form system.It fits snugly into the slots provided in all U-Forms and, when necessary, is quickly installed from the outside of the formwork assembly.
• Standard sizes of all types of snap ties are available to accommodate wall
  thickness (W) from 100 mm to 750 mm in increments of 25 mm and these are supplied with 25 mm breakbacks.
• Lengths to suit other wall thicknesses can be manufactured to order. Breakbacks of 40 mm and 50 mm are also available to order.

RUBBER CONES

• Used when concrete has set hard before stripping. The rubber cone allows sufficient movement to snap the tie at the notch. For 25, 40 and 50 mm breakback (when ordering please state breakback required). Rubber cones are strongly recommended when using ties of 40 and 50 mm breakback.
  

RUBBER WATERSEAL

• The rubber waterseal pushes onto a standard Acrow snap tie, enabling it to be used in situations where improved water resistance has been specified.

KEY & WEDGE ASSEMBLY

• Keys & wedges are used to secure U-Form snap ties in one operation, requiring only the use of a hammer.

• Speedform threadbar dia. 15 mm and 20 mm is engineered from hot-rolled steel, meeting quality requirements YS=885 N/mm2.Uts=1080 N/mm2.
• Transverse stress due to steel brackets must be avoided. Climbing cones should be used to take transverse stress.
